FINCH is an independent natural science illustration studio rooted in curiosity, careful observation, and the natural world.

By visiting this website or purchasing from FINCH, you agree to the terms and policies outlined here.

Products & Artwork

Every effort is made to represent FINCH artwork and products as accurately as possible. Because screens vary—and because much of the work begins with traditional materials—colors and details may look slightly different in person.

Products, prices, and availability may change from time to time, and some pieces are produced in limited quantities.

Orders

FINCH reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, inventory errors, incorrect pricing, or unauthorized resale.

If an order is canceled after payment has been processed, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Pricing

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted. Applicable taxes and shipping charges are calculated at checkout.

The Artwork Belongs to the Artist

Purchasing a FINCH print, original, card, product, or digital file means the physical piece is yours to enjoy. The copyright to the artwork remains with the artist.

Unless specific permission or licensing has been granted in writing, FINCH artwork may not be reproduced, copied, altered, distributed, resold as a reproduction, used on products, or used for commercial purposes.

Purchasing artwork also does not grant permission for tattoo use, branding, merchandise, publication, or other licensed uses.

If you’re interested in using an illustration beyond enjoying the piece you purchased, please reach out to britt@finchbybrittany.com. Licensing and permissions may be available depending on the project.

Using This Website

The artwork, photography, writing, branding, graphics, and other original content throughout this site belong to FINCH and/or Brittany Hannes unless otherwise noted.

Please don’t reproduce, distribute, or commercially use content from this site without written permission.

Third-Party Services

Some parts of the FINCH website and shopping experience rely on third-party services, including payment processors, shipping carriers, and ecommerce applications. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FINCH is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or its products.
