Unlikely Friends Crop

The Unlikely Friends Crop Tee pairs one of FINCH’s favorite illustrations with a substantial, lived-in shirt made to be worn often.

Made from 100% ring-spun U.S. cotton, the Comfort Colors tee is garment-dyed for softness and a broken-in feel from the start. The fit is boxy and slightly cropped, landing at an easy mid-length rather than a true short crop. At 6.1 oz., it has a noticeably heavier hand than a standard tee and is finished with reinforced seams for a piece designed to hold up to repeat wear.

Printed in dark brown ink on warm ivory, the illustration brings together an unlikely pair from the natural world.

THE ILLUSTRATION

Pygmy owls may be small, but they are remarkably fierce hunters, taking prey that can rival them in size. Great horned owls occupy the other end of the scale—powerful, opportunistic predators known to prey on other birds, including smaller owls.

So while these two look perfectly companionable perched together, the friendship is mostly wishful thinking.
